Discerning Truth, Living Boldly, Building Lifelong Friendships

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the conflicting messages the world throws at you? Whether it’s what you see on social media, hear at school, or absorb from pop culture, it can leave you questioning what’s really true. And sometimes, it feels like you’re navigating this confusion alone, trying to live for Christ in a world that often makes it challenging.

EquipHer 2025 is designed to meet you right where you are. We’re here to equip you not only to discern the false narratives you face each day but also to boldly share the one true story—the gospel—that sets people free. You’ll connect with other teens from across the city who also desire to deepen their relationship with Christ and be equipped to live with purpose.

At EquipHer 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers, participate in hands-on workshops designed to teach you how to be a change-maker, and engage in authentic conversations during a live podcast. Our goal is equipping teens to make a meaningful impact in the world around you. • Healthy Habits: Building Rhythms for a Purposeful Life
    Speaker: Noralea O’Meilia

Do you ever feel like your days are packed with school, friends, and activities, yet you’re still left feeling overwhelmed or stretched too thin? With so much going on, it can be hard to find a sense of balance. What if you could create rhythms in your life that help you feel more focused, energized, and connected to God’s purpose for you?

In this workshop, Noralea O'Melia will share how building healthy habits can help you prioritize what matters most without giving up the things you enjoy. By learning how to manage your time, make space for rest, and stay connected to God, you’ll discover how small, intentional rhythms can bring peace and stability to your daily life.

This session will equip you with practical tips and tools to build a balanced and purposeful life, helping you feel more grounded and ready for whatever comes your way.

This session will equip you with practical tips and tools to build habits that support your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being—so you can start living with purpose and intention, one step at a time.

Faithful Feelings: Helping Teens with Emotions
    Speaker: Sarah Mitchell

Do you ever feel like your emotions are running the show—pulling you into frustration, comparison, or even guilt? Life can be a rollercoaster, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by everything happening around you. But what if your emotions could be something more? What if they could point you toward freedom, purpose, and the life God designed for you?

In this workshop, Sarah Mitchell will show you how the Gospel doesn’t just save your soul—it transforms the way you think and feel. You’ll learn how to navigate emotions like stress, shame, and even joy with confidence, knowing you don’t have to be ruled by them or the opinions of others.

Through practical tips and tools, this workshop will equip you to align your emotions with God’s truth and experience the peace and freedom that come from living with His perspective.

Off to College: Important Steps for Staying Rooted in Your Faith
    Speaker: Mindy Dickerson

College is an exciting new chapter, but it can also be a time when students face challenges in staying connected to their faith. Many share stories of drifting away from God, making choices they later regret, and struggling with the consequences. What if you could start college with a plan to keep your faith strong and build a supportive community from the very beginning?

This workshop is designed to help juniors and seniors take practical steps to stay grounded in their relationship with God as they transition to college. You’ll learn how to identify a solid church and campus ministry and how to connect with relationships that will encourage your walk with Christ.

By stepping onto campus with a plan, you’ll be ready to grow spiritually, make an impact, and embrace the opportunities of this exciting new season with confidence and purpose.

Where and when is the 2025 EquipHer Teen Conference taking place?

The EquipHer Teen Conference is happening on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Norris Conference Center in the vibrant City Centre area of Houston. Get ready for an unforgettable evening designed just for you!

Can I come alone, or do I need to bring a group?

Absolutely, you can come alone! This is a perfect opportunity to meet new friends and connect with other teens who share your passion for Christ. You can also bring your D-Group (discipleship group) along with your D-Group leader for a shared experience. Please note that this event is specially crafted for teens and their D-Group leaders—parents get a night off to relax and have fun!

My mom wants to come—can she join?

We love that your parents are excited, but we've tailored the experience to be engaging and relevant just for teens. We would love for moms to enjoy a fun evening out at City Centre—there are plenty of great restaurants and shops for them to explore. They can also consider joining us for the Women's Conference on Saturday for their own enriching experience.

What time should I arrive, and what should I expect?

The fun kicks off early! Arrive anytime after 3:00 PM to hang out with friends, shop exclusive EquipHer Teen discounts at stores like Altar'd State, and grab a Starbucks. Check-in opens at 5:30 PM—come snap some pics at our photo wall, stop by the "Glow Up" bar for the glow party at the end of the night, and find your seat before the excitement begins!

Will there be merch available at the conference?

Yes! Get ready to shop our exclusive EquipHer merch right at the conference. From trendy t-shirts and hoodies to inspiring accessories, there's something for everyone to commemorate this amazing experience. Bring some spending money and snag your favorites before the night begins!

How do I get my ticket, and will I need to bring a printed copy?

After you register online, you'll receive a confirmation email—no need to print anything! We'll have your name on our list at check-in. Just bring yourself and your excitement!

What should I wear to the conference?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! Whether that's your favorite jeans and a cute top, a fun dress, or rocking some EquipHer merch.

Can I stay overnight with friends and family?

Absolutely! Make it a memorable weekend by booking a hotel room with your friends and moms. We recommend the Moran Hotel right in City Centre—it's connected to the event center and will add extra fun to your conference experience. Enjoy late-night chats, room service, and more quality time together!

Can I bring friends who aren't part of my D-Group?

Yes, please do! The more, the merrier. Invite your friends—even if they’re not part of a D-Group—to join you for this incredible night of inspiration, learning, and fun. It's a great way to share this experience and grow together.

The EquipHer Teen Conference is designed for girls aged 13 to 18. If you're in middle school or high school, this event is for you!

Will there be opportunities to interact with the speakers?

Yes! We’ve planned interactive sessions where you can ask questions, participate in discussions, and engage directly with our speakers. It's a fantastic chance to dive deeper into topics and get personalized insights.

What should I bring to the conference?

Bring yourself, a bible, some spending money for merch and shopping, and an open heart ready to learn and have fun! Don't forget to bring your friends along, too.

Are scholarships or financial assistance available?

We want everyone to have the opportunity to attend. If the cost is a barrier, please reach out to us directly, and we'll do our best to assist you through available scholarships or sponsorships.

What COVID-19 precautions will be in place?

Your safety is our priority. We will follow all current health and safety guidelines as recommended by local authorities at the time of the event. This may include sanitation stations and spacious seating arrangements. We will keep you updated as the event approaches.

What happens if something unexpected, like a health mandate, prevents the event from taking place in person?

If we're unable to gather in person, we've got you covered! We'll transition to a dynamic virtual experience, bringing all the inspiring content and interaction straight to your screen. You'll still be able to connect, learn, and grow alongside other teens from wherever you are.

Can I cancel my registration or transfer it to someone else?

Tickets are non-refundable, but life happens! If you can't make it, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to another teen who would love to attend. Just let us know about the change so we can update our records.

How will pick-up work after the event?

The conference will wrap up at 10:00 PM. Parents can pick you up directly at the Norris Conference Center.
