Mindy Dickerson serves as the Executive Director of The George & Barbara Bush Center for Scholars & Leaders at Houston Christian High School. With over 26 years of experience in education, Mindy has a passion for developing students and leaders alike.
Before joining Houston Christian, Mindy spent 18 years as a Campus Principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in public education. She was honored to open new campuses as both an Assistant Principal and Principal, serve on strategic planning committees, and contribute as a member of the Katy ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors. In 2017-18, she was recognized as Katy ISD District Secondary Principal of the Year—a testament to her leadership and dedication to students.
Mindy began her career as an English teacher, where her love for learning and mentorship took root. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from Texas A&M University in College Station.
Throughout her career, Mindy has been committed to creating opportunities for growth, collaboration, and excellence in education, and she continues to inspire the next generation of scholars and leaders.
