Reading the Bible One-on-One

An Interview with Courtney Garrett

It has been said that 61% of unbelievers say that they would read the Bible with someone if invited. We want to equip you with tips and tools for inviting someone in your family, neighborhood, or workplace to read the Bible with you one-on-one.

About Courtney

Courtney graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary where she received her Master of Arts in Christian Education. She then served as the Director of Women’s Discipleship for several years at her home church, Grace Bible Church, in Houston, Texas. Through all her experiences she discovered that while there were many great Bible studies available, there was a void. She could not find a basic study that provided a simple, comprehensive foundation for those seeking or the new believer. She also found that those willing and ready to disciple others did not have the basic tools to easily and confidently share their faith. For this reason, she developed the 101 Christianity resources with the seeker, skeptic, new believer, and mature believer all in mind.

Courtney continues to enjoy teaching the Bible and developing more resources for 101 Christianity. She lives in Houston with her husband, John, and their two boys, Jack and Camp.
